Our institution Govt. Vivekanand P.G College ,named after famous social reformer and spiritual leader swami vivekanand , was established in July 1973. The college is permanently affitiated to the Sant Gahira Guru University Sarguja , Ambikapur Chhattisgarh .It is approved u/s2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC act 1956.Located at the foot hill of “Siddha Baba Pahadi” with a mesmerizing panoramic view college offers co-education in the faculties of Humanities ,science and commerce at graduate and post graduate level. The college is approximately 20kms away from the state border of Madhya Pradesh , therefore , students from the neighbouring state also are benefited .Our is the only (Govt.) college , in the rural town of Manendragarh , with a well defined motive of “Rural Youth Empowerment through Quality Education” the neighbourhood villages and local community naturally felt the need of the college imparting higher education for their coming generations .
